All Levels

All students need their own yoga mat to practice on.  I do provide some props to assist students into postures that are challenging to them such as foam blocks, cotton yoga straps, and bolsters.

Hatha Level 1

Just getting started in Yoga, or you used to do Yoga but have had a lapse in your practice?  Join us for level 1 and be introduced to a wide variety of seated postures as well as standing (Triangle, Warrior) and balancing (Tree, Eagle) as well as a many forward and gentle backward bends.  Hatha literally translates into Ha - Meaning Sun and Tha - Meaning Moon.  Hatha Yoga is then the Yoga for balancing both energies in your body, mind and spirit.

Hatha Level 2

You are comfortable with many basic Yoga postures and would like your practice to grow to a more advanced level.  You will explore more vigorous postures, and gradually increase the duration you can comfortably hold them.  Also practice more inversions, inverted postures and get comfortable with clasping poses.

Kids Yoga

Hatha for Kids is a great way to integrate all the same Yoga poses that adults do.  Although children are often more flexible than adults already, Yoga offers children to become body-aware, increase their ability to focus and concentrate and improve coordination.  Kids enjoy a faster pace class to keep up with their attention spans.
